DE QUEEN, ARKANSAS - Nina May Allen Wise, 53, died Thursday January 8, 1998, at a Dallas hospital.  She was born December 26, 1944, in Topeka, Kansas.  She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1962 in Topeka.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of De Queen.

She married Burt Wise.  He survives.  Other survivors include two sons, Todd Wise, Horatio, Arkansas, and Wade Godsey, Savannah, Georgia; a daughter, Cheri Keating, Topeka, Kansas; a step-daughter, Jennifer Wise, Topeka, Kansas; two brothers, Kenny Allen, Salmon Idaho, and Garland Allen, Topeka, Kansas, and several grandchildren.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen.  Burial was at the First Baptist Church Cemetery at Simsboro, Lousianna.  Memorial contributions were made to the Leukemia Society of America.
