Errol Beair

COLUMBIA, MISSOURI - Errol Dean Beair of Columbia died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Boone Hospital Center.  Errol was born November 4, 1944, in Southgate, California to Glenn and Faye Bordine Beair.  They proceeded him in death.  He married Sandra Ann Burnett on November 21, 1979, in Wheatland, Wyoming.  She survives.

His passion was sports, and his profession was selling cars in Columbia and Orlando, Florida for most of his life.  His enthusiasm for automobiles kept him wheeling and dealing even in retirement.  He was loved for his great storytelling.  He never met a stranger and if anyone asked, he would always say, "I did it my way."

Other survivors include a son, Shane Beair of Columbia; a daughter, Angela Hale of Corpus Christi, Texas; a stepdaughter, Kristie Bogden of Columbia; a stepson, Justin Martin and wife Amy of San Angelo, Texas; a sister, Carol Brown (Mike Varvil) of Ashland; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 13, 2011, after the third annual Black & Gold Golf Tournament benefit.  There was no service as Mr. Beair wished his body to be donated to research.
