TOPEKA, KANSAS - Kathleen "Kathie" Cox, 68, of Topeka, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013.  She was born June 10, 1944 in Osage City, Kansas, the daughter of Orville and Velma Pat Fleming.  Kathie was raised in Topeka, and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1962.  She was employed by Anesthesia Associates of Topeka and later, C.I.S. of Topeka.  Kathie is survived by her spouse, Richard; daughter, Heather Cox; brother, Scott Fleming; sister, Lorie Huyett (Jake); mother, Pat Fleming; nephew, Jeremiah Huyett (Jessica); three great-nephews, Jacob, Jace, and Jamison Huiyett; and her best and most endearing life-long friend, Connie Gotto Kimble.  Per her wishes, Kathie was cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission.  To leave a special message for the family or Connie online, please visit www.DoveCremation.com.
