TOPEKA, KANSAS -  Carol Sue Fagan, 57, Topeka, died Monday, April 8, 2002, at a Rochester, Minnesota hospital.  Mrs. Fagan was director of the Pain Management Program and the Midwest Occupational Health Clinic at the Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital.

She was born October 15, 1944, in Topeka, the daughter of Alvin and Ruby Miller Griffin.  Carol was a 1962 graduate of Highland Park High School and earned a bachelor's degree at Washburn University.  Mrs. Fagan was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.  She married Steve Fagan in 1971 in Topeka.  They were divorced.

Survivors include two sons, Brennan Patrick Fagan and Ryan Raymond Fagan, both of Overland Park; a brother, Galen Griffin, Topeka; and a sister Sheron Lowry, Phillipsburg.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 12, at Assumption Catholic Church.  Burial was at the Topeka Cemetery.  Memorial contributions were made to the Mayo Clinic Bone Marrow Transplant Program.

Carol, always smiling and a true friend to all. She was may personal "arm chair psychiatrist" and I know I am not the only one who missies her.

From Janny Lou - Carol, you lit up a room when you entered. I never forget our Estes Park road trips. Will miss you always.
