Leta McLain

From 1964 to 1974, I worked for the State of Kansas SRS Dept. From 1974 to 1984 I worked for the Capital Service Bureau. I than rejoined the State of Kansas and continued working for the Youth Center of Topeka and their various names, until I retired on September 19, 2011.
I volunteered at the Topeka Blood Bank for 4 years running the canteen at the Blood Mobiles. Also was a dlood doner for several years becoming a member of the 2 Gallon Plus club for blood donations.

Knitting, sewing, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, Boggles & Cryptoquotes in the newspaper. The most fun was the Sunday crossword. I enjoy almost all kinds of music and I got to meet Red Foley many years ago.

Bucket list was realized in 1974 when I enjoyed being in Switzerland for 9 days. It was so beautiful & the people were so friendly.

Being one of four lucky people to receive a certificate for 4 years of Perfect Attendance in 1962.
