I was honored to be reconnected to Doris twice. She graciously rescued me from an awkward social situation  in the early 90s, and saw her again at Menninger Professional Library. That she remembered me after my absence of 30+ years speaks to her thoughtfulness and kindness. Condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear Doris has passed away. I remember her as a very kind and humorous classmate. She is certainly admired for her accomplishments in her professional field of nursing. May God bring his compassion and peace to the Buckner family.
