TOPEKA, KANSAS - Loren Ray Thompson was born in Centralia, Kansas, on December 16, 1942.  He died at home, Sunday, May 5, 2013, after a brave struggle against brain cancer.  People who cherish his memory include his wife Cathy (Johnson), his daughters, Tammy Parsons (Rob) and Kim Thompson, son, Mike Meditz, 7 grandchildren, and countless friends.  A memorial celebration was held on Friday, May 10th at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church.  Memorial contributions were made to Grace Baptist Church.
