TOPEKA, KANSAS - Wayne Earl Brandon, Sr., 68, of Topeka, passed away April 21, 2012.  He was born in Topeka on August 2, 1943, to Clifford Curtis and Juanita (Haggins) Brandon. 

He attended Highland Park High School.  He served in the U.S. Army.  Wayne worked as concrete finisher and was a member of St. Luke's Missionary Bapist Church.

He was survived by his son Wayne Brandon, Jr.; his daughter, Barbara Brandon; 8 grandchildren, Krissy, Destini, Kelista, Anajalay, Adarius, Araveon, Bryen, and A'Keyleona; his brother, James Brandon, and his sister, Maxine Kirtdoll.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Warren Eugene Brandon, and one daughter, Algie Forbes.  A memorial service was held May 5, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Missionary Baptist Church.
